System3 is a modular camera system that can be operated in both, line- and point-collimation mode on conventional sealed-tube or rotating-anode generators.

For measurements on isotropic, unoriented samples such as dilute macromolecular solutions, nanopowders, polymers, or ceramic materials, line collimation X-ray optics are a viable and economical alternative to point-focussing optics. Reliable software tools are available for the necessary corrections of the scattering curves (desmearing).

High-Brilliance Line- or Point-Collimation

The Hecus Kratky block collimation optics provide a background-free, high-flux X-ray beam for highest resolution and speed of measurement.

Hecus System3 is designed in a modular way so that customers can easily find their best and very specific solution from a range of configurations.

System3 offers a wide variety of cuvettes for different sample environments.

Upgrading to S3-MICRO

Any System3 configuration can also be upgraded to S3-MICRO at a later stage. It is therefore the most economical way to enter the practice of laboratory SAXS/SWAXS.
