R&D100 Award goes to Hecus for S3-MICROcaliX®
The editors of R&D Magazine have announced the winners of the 49th Annual R&D 100 Awards, which salute the 100 most technologically significant products introduced into the marketplace over the past year.

S3-MICROcaliX® Installed in Toronto, Canada
During the past week the S3-MICROcalix® at a Canadian research institute has been installed successfully and passed the CSA-approval. This state-of-the-art system combines proprietary technologies in X-ray optics, calorimetry and advanced data acquisition systems and is the first and only of this sort on the market.

Winner of RUSNANOPRIZE 2010
Only a few days after winning the Austrian innovation prize "Fast Forward Award", Hecus was also announced winner of the RUSNANOPRIZE 2010 in the category of nanodiagnostics. This prize has been established in 2009 to inspire and recognize innovations in the field of nanotechnology und nanoindustry. An international advisory board, composed of businessmen and leading scientists, once a year awards the prize to researchers for their discoveries and innovations as well as to companies for practically implementing them in the fields of nanoelectronics, nanomaterials, nanobiotechnology und nanodiagnostics. This year the „Rusnanoprize“ goes to Hecus X-Ray Systems for their implementation of innovative technologies in nanodiagnostics.

RUSNANOPRIZE Award Ceremony
The "RUSNANOPRIZE 2010" in the field of nanotechnology and nanodiagnostics was presented to Hecus on 3rd November 2010 in Moscow.
Success: Hecus wins Fast Forward Award
One of the most important Austrian innovation prizes was awarded to Hecus XRS on Wednesday. This proves once more the company's status as main innovator in the nanoanalytics market. Hecus won the Austrian "Fast-Forward-Award 2010" (FFA). The FFA is the innovation award of the Styrian government which rewards the most innovative ideas of the year. The project submitted was, of course, the latest Hecus innovation: the S3-MICROcaliX®. This combination of x-ray scattering (SAXS) and microcalorimetry in one compact laboratory system totally convinced the jury.
