Hecus on FacebookS3-MICROpix®: Challenging the SynchrotronFinalist for Austrian R&D AwardWith its most recent innovation, the S3-MICROcaliX®, Hecus is nominated finalist of the "Fast-Forward-Award 2010". This award, presented by the Styrian government, rewards the most innovative ideas of the year; taking into account their innovative factor, customer benefits, sustainability and market opportunity. This years' nomination is the fourth in a row as a finalist and in 2003 Hecus won Austrian's most important R&D prize.
30th June 2010 Two more Hecus System Installed in GermanyThe first of the two Hecus systems was installed in Munich. The prominent physics institution at the Neutron Source in Garching uses the S3-MICROpix® camera for the investigation of lipids, e.g. the research on dynamics of molecular liquids. The second SWAXS system was set up in Göttingen. The unique solution was exclusively developed for this research laboratory. It is built to combine bright x-ray optics and compact laser technology in standard laboratories. This new system solution enables simultaneous SWAXS and laser measurments which was until now only possible at large research facilities. 1st Jun. 2010 Hecus XRS strengthens Technology Leadership and Global Market PresenceAn intensified cooperation programme has recently been agreed between Hecus XRS and Xenocs, Grenoble, France. This will further strengthen the sustainable position of the two partners as technology leaders in x-ray nanostructure analysis. The latest innovation arising from this cooperation is the S3-MICROpixDFThis new system provides point- and line-focussing capabilities within one camera at the same x-ray microbeam delivery system. The key for this innovative product is the FOX-1D multilayer mirror providing a uniquely brilliant line-profile focus (>10 photons/s, half-width <0.3mm). An attractive range of new applications can be covered by this solution, such as:
The changeover from point to line focus is extremely simple: Read more... Mythen 1K available with S3-MICROpix®Hecus integrated the new 1-D Pixeldetector Mythen 1K from Dectris into the S3-MICROpix® System. The Mythen is the most powerful 1-D detector currently available. The enormous linear-dynamic range enables measurements into very small qmin-values, without jeopardizing the detector. It can even be exposed to the direct beam which enables measurements on absolute scale. 1st Feb. 2010 New Distributor in Japan: SEIKO EG&G Co. Ltd.From now on Hecus will be represented in Japan by SEIKO EG&G Co. Ltd., Tokyo. At Hecus we are dedicated to always provide the best service and support to our clients. With this cooperation we ensure even faster and more effective support for to our Japanese customers. 13th January 2010 News Archive |
