All x-ray-camera systems can be fitted with the necessary accessories for the performance of the most demanding applications in SAXS/SWAXS/GISAXS. Operation is driven by a customized LabVIEW® (National Instruments) based software package.

Temperature Control

• Hecus TCCS 3: Peltier controlled sample stage for -20 – 120°C (+/- 0.1°C precision)
• Hecus TCCS-300: Joule heater for ambient to 300°C (+/- 0.1 °C precision)

Both units are operated by electronic control units for freely selectable temperature/time series and interfaced with the detector control system via Hecus ASA-II software.

Sample Cells

• Quartz capillary cuvette for liquids, minimum volume 40µl
• Capillary flow-through accessory for continuous flow or discontinuous sample filling from an external sample changer
• Cell for pastes and powders
• Holder for solid samples

All cells are suitable for the use with temperature control systems.

Hecus SpinCap

Capillary rotation unit which serves to keep liquid suspensions from sedimenting, and/or allows rotary averaging of microcrystalline powder patterns.

GISAXS Micro-rotation Stage

Micro-rotation stage for solid-supported thin films for GISAXS or XRR applications

High Pressure Cell

Hydrostatic pressure cell for liquids in the range of 0.1 to 100 MPa (S3-MICRO only).
